Smarts
Sarah is talking up a storm. I've stopped keeping track of her new words because she repeats everything now. Today I asked her, "how did you get so smart?" and she replied, "daddy." (Thanks a lot, Sarah! My time with you each day apparently counts for nothing!)

If I were to meet Sarah would I understand what she is saying? I ask because Isabelle you could...Isaac definately talks a lot but I would have to translate for a lot of words.

You would be able to understand some words if you were in the room with her. "Dark" comes out like "duck," "sun" is "un," etc. She's not speaking sentences or anything but the words she says are most definitely the words she's trying for (although usually truncated versions). Daddy, Mommy, Anna, and a few others are very clear.

OKay...I feel better than thanks! I wasn't sure if they really counted as words if only I know what she is saying.

Okay, thanks Becky! I wasn't sure if it still counted as words if only I know what he is saying.

Bri is hitting the 18 month Chatterbox phase too! Elly was right about the same for timing. It is crazy fun with all the language-and laguage with meaning. "Mommy look" "More milk please" "Go out" "Big Truck" and tons more! I LOVE IT!
